Components, not just individual operations
A fabrication enquiry is most useful when it describes the item to be supplied. An enclosure might involve several cut and folded panels; ducting may combine curved sections and transition pieces; an equipment bracket may need cutting, bending and joining. We can discuss the sequence and define where our scope ends.
Enclosures, cabinets and panels
Metal housings, cabinet components, covers and panels made to the agreed drawing. Identify cut-outs, access openings and mating parts. For electrical applications, this description concerns the metalwork, not electrical wiring or equipment.
Brackets and formed parts
Mounting brackets, support profiles and other cut-and-formed components. Show how the parts connect, and identify the dimensions or interfaces that matter to the finished assembly.
Ducting and rolled assemblies
Discuss transition pieces, rolled shells, cones and joined sheet metal components. State the intended use and the required completion stage rather than assuming the scope includes a complete installed system.

What is included?
Specify any weld, surface, finish, hardware, coating, installation or testing requirements. Such items are not automatically included simply because a product is described as fabricated; availability and responsibility must be agreed.

Does every enquiry need all your manufacturing processes?
